It’s Friday, October 16th, 2026 and the Watchman is in a reminiscent state tonight—reflecting on the fact that the older folks he knew as a child are dead and half of his siblings and friends have been funeralized and are dead…
Then a quote from the ninetieth century preacher-poet Henry W. Longfellow enters my mind:
“Life is real—Life is honest and the grave is not its goal…
Dust thou art and dust thou returneth was not spoken of
the soul.”
This poet was trying to tell us something:
We must all die but after death we’ll be judged for the life we’ve lived in our few days on earth—filled with trouble!!!
If you’ve lived your life in TIME on earth loving God, the Creator, with all of your soul and strength and loving your neighbors as you love yourself— the Word God has given His Watchman for you tonight is:
“ALL IS WELL!!!”
But those of you out there who are reading this post tonight; who love the world and whose mind is set on filthy lucre and the temporary pleasures of Sin for a season— you’re soon enter into Hell and the Eternal Lake of Fire!!!
